Termites are a soil based insects. Four spices of Termites are Dampwood, Drywood, Subterranean termites.
Main food is cellulose which is found in wood, leather, paper and cloth which get damaged once termites enter them. Also they damage electrical wires, cellulosic materials, plastic, rubber which are seen in building premises.
Workers and soldiers live approximately one to two years. A well cared-for termite queen can live for up to 35 years in ideal conditions.
A termite queen will produce one egg every three seconds, averaging about 30,000 eggs PER DAY. That's 10,950,000 eggs per year.
Females are fully in control of both sexual and asexual reproduction. The size of the termites’ queen is around 3 to 8 inches long.
Members of the soldier are light brown in colour. Their job is to protect the nests.
The worker are white in colour. They maintain, repair the nest, garther food and water. Then they construct new tunnels as the colony grows.
The treatment is done by drilling at the junction of wall and surface then chemical is poured in the holes, and holes are sealed with white cement. We try to create a chemical barrier around the surrounding of the premises with the purpose to eliminate the termite colony. The chemical has a mild smell but no side effects.
The drilling is done at 1 to 1&1/2 foot each with the purpose to create a chemical barrier.
The depth of the hole would vary from 4 to 6 inches and the size of the hole would vary from 8mm to 10mm after inspection.
On each hole, we try to pour chemical around 200 to 250ml so that it spread across the surface of the premises.

Method of Treatments : As per ISI (Indians Standards Institutes) specifications, there are three steps to follow while do insecticides treatment for whit-ants in post construction treatments which are as follows :
Soil (External Treatment for Termites): A chemical barrier is created between the termites in the soil and the building that has to be protected. This is achieved in the following manner :
The treatment is done where by the holes are drilled as close as possible to the plinth wall about 1 to 1&1/2 foot apart from each other. The depth of the hole would be one foot, whereby the chemical Imidacloprid is diluted with water and then poured inside the holes with a rate of 2 to 3 liter per hole. The distances between the holes are around 3 to 4 feet away from each other. The size of the holes is 16 to 18mm. The drilling is done with 90 degree. The purpose is that it reaches the soil creates a chemical barrier which eliminates the termites present there and to stop them from re-infesting. If your building is on pillars, the holes are drilled around the pillars and insecticide poured into the soil.
The Base of the Masonry Walls (Internal Anti Termite Treatment):
The treatment is done where by the holes are drilled at the intervals of 1.5 foots intervals at the junction of the wall and the floor with a 45 degree in order to stop and prevent the movement of termites from the ground level. We try to pour the chemical on each holes around 250ml to 400ml at the junction of the wall and surface. The size of the holes would be 8 to 10mm. The depth of the holes would be 6 to 8 inches probably The drilling operation is not carried out on the partition walls above the ground floor because the RCC slabs act as a mechanical barrier and the termites cannot penetrate them.
Termites Treatments are carried out substantially at the ground level, first floor, second floor of the buildings at equivalent interval distances of 1 to 1.5 foot inside of the flats and outer sides of the buildings that is staircase and passages. As the treatment goes above the second floor of the building, the intervals distances of the holes will increases approximately to three foot distance.
Vulnerable Wooden Portions of the Building:
The treatment is done where there is contact with wood like doors and windows frame in contact with the masonry in a building, which are highly prone area for termites attack. The treatment is carried out with drilling, pouring of chemical and then sealing with white cements. Spot treatment of spraying on infested areas in the walls and ceiling is also carried out.
Frequency of Check Ups:
We undertake termites’ treatment for entire residential building (internal and external area) and entire commercial building (hospital, shopping malls, hotels, school and colleges, commercial offices premises)
We ensure and give warranty for termites’ protection for a period of five years in which monitoring visits are done in 3/6months throughout the contract period.
Intimation will be given in advance by post about the time of arrival of our operators. Necessary treatment will be carried out in case of re-infestation.
You can call us as and when there is re-infestation during the entire contract period of five years.
Time Required Completing the Building :
On an average it takes two of our operators about 8-12 days to complete entire building, depending upon the availability.
Pre Construction Termites Services (Pile Foundation, RCC, Masonry Foundation)
1. We treat the sides and bottom surface of the foundation trenches and pits with chemical to a height of about 30cm at the rate of 5 Lit. per square meter of surface area.
2. Backfill earth on each side of all built up walls, which will be in immediate contact with the foundation, should be treated with chemical at the rate of 7.5Lit. per linear meter of vertical surface of the substructure, to a depth of 45cm and width of 15cm. The chemical shall be directed towards the masonry surfaces so that earth in contact with these surfaces is well treated with the chemical.
Before laying the floor, treat the top surface of the consolidated earth within the plinth walls with chemical at the rate of 5lit.per square meter. Ensure back fill against foundation is treated to its full depth.
Builders should take care that any disruption of the barrier during later construction work (e.g. creation of gardens over the treated barrier), may lead to untreated gaps. Warranty – 10 years
